How does Egaroo.com work?
First of all, uploading your banner at egaroo.com is Free. You will classify your banner according to diverse identification parameters using keywords related to your website and selecting an industry under your banner will be found.

Our database system will alternately and randomly display each banner, so that all banners will have the same opportunities.This way we ensure to every banner owner equal exposition time.

Based on every banner's impressions amount, our system will display those with less exposition first until they reach an equal number of impressions than those being displayed for a longer time, that meaning newest ones will be regularly shown first.


How can my banner enter the system?
Click on “Buy” and follow this 6-step process:

1. Enter the information on your banner and its search words by search category: industry, keywords and URL/email address to link to your website.
   
2. Tell us the language and place where your targeted group is located. Provide the cities, countries and specific locations where your website content is relevant.
   
3. A summary on your banner will be displayed.
   
   At this point you may upload your banner. If you don't have it ready yet, you may do it after finishing your registration and receiving our confirmation email with your registration details (User name and Password). By clicking on Log In in our home page you will access your profile to manage your banner (after registering).
   
4. Fill out a form with your personal and company data. Not all the fields are required to be filled.
   
5. Check that all your personal data is correct.
   
6. Accept our Terms and Conditions and click on Finish.
   

Can you change the image or links after you have uploaded your banner?
You may change the design of your banner as many times as you want. The process is as follows: A login name and password will be sent to your email inbox when registering to egaroo. In our website click on "Log In" and enter your username and password in order to display your profile. Once there you will find your personal and banner information. You may then upload your banner (if you have not uploaded any image yet) or change it for a new one. You may also change your banner's profile (keywords and industry) as many times as you want.


Why was the 468 x 60 pixel format chosen?
The 468 x 60 pixel format is a web banner standard. Your advertising agency or designer may already have a banner design that fits this format.

Remember that in many cases you are competing to draw attention to your ad with companies with greater budgets and high graphic design expertise. If you hire a free-lance designer or a small design studio you might be leveled to large corporations without spending a fortune. If you do not want to spend anything, you may design the banner yourself. Original and non-mainstream designs are always welcome at egaroo.com.


Why are Flash animations not allowed?
Because of the variety of Flash versions existing today, it would be impossible for us to manage and verify the banners sent in this format. Some would work and others might not, depending on what browser version visitors use.


Are GIF animations allowed?
Yes, they are, but their size should be at most 15 KB, as with all the jpeg or non animated gif banners.
